Friendly local pub that gave me a warm welcome when I stayed in the area overnight. Comfortable restaurant area adjacent to the bar and a cosy, comfy, quiet bedroom upstairs. Really good menu, and the kitchen punches way above its weight; beautifully presented and prepared food, and a good selection both of wines and beers. Great, friendly and helpful service. They even got up early to make my breakfast, before an early departure! - David W
